August: Spoon Letter

Hi all,
Welcome to my August Spoon Letter!
First of all: personalisation has been hot! Since launching our engraving service, we have seen the cutest names, dates, initials, and little love notes come through. It is so special to see how people make our pieces their own. From wedding gifts to birthday presents, it feels like personalisation has opened up a whole new world for Lepelclub. Simone Frank worked on beautiful imagery for this new service, so we can communicate it even better.
Something else I have been thinking about for a while: a silver option for our Pearl Collection. We recently teased samples of a silver version of our Pearl Collection on Instagram, and the responses were amazing. I always love when we test something and the response is so clear. It confirms that there is still so much room to expand the world of Lepelclub. Gold will stay, but silver is calling…
For a long time, I have wanted to expand into coffee cups. This design has taken more time than expected, but we are getting there...
Behind the scenes, we are also preparing for something very exciting: our birthday week.
In October, Lepelclub turns five! I can’t believe how fast time has flown by. We want to celebrate this special moment with our followers, and therefore we are working on something together with the most iconic hotel in Amsterdam. The city where Lepelclub started, and still the place that inspires us so much. I cannot share all the details yet, but there will be a very special giveaway, beautiful gifts, and a full week of celebrating everything we have built together over the past five years.
This was also the last month of our intern Lieke! It’s always so lovely to see how much our interns grow over the months, taking on more responsibility and becoming a real part of the team. Next month, we’ll be welcoming a new marketing intern, just in time for the busy period ahead. We’re very excited to have some extra hands on deck!
On a personal note, I have been arranging a lot as I will be moving houses soon. A goal of mine was to have my own place together with my boyfriend, and that is now just around the corner. I believe that writing down your ambitions helps turn them into reality.
I’ll leave it here for now. Questions or want to chat? Talk s(p)oon! xx
