Hi Mollie, we are so excited to have you here! Let’s start stirring! Who is Mollie Roos?
Hi angels! I’m the founder of by little baby makeup bag Roos that I run together with my boyfriend. We sell cute handmade makeup bags with your name embroidered. We are soon turning one year which is crazy because the time has never gone faster than now.
Where did you grow up and where do you live now?
I’m born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden where I live now but in two months I will move to Spain where my family lives and to get more sun hours per year haha!
How did the idea unfold for Makeup Bag Roos?
I wanted to have an idea that I could see myself working with for years. The idea came when me and my boyfriend visited Italy in 2022 and I fell in love with the Italian style. I was tired of all the makeup bags that looked the same and I felt I never found a makeup bag I could have in my bag when I went for dinner. And the embroidery seemed like a perfect thing to make every makeup bag skip a heartbeat. It’s just so cute.
What has been your favorite milestone so far with Makeup Bag Roos?
It hasn’t sunk in yet but Kylie Jenner’s best friend Victoria Villarroel reached out and wrote that she was obsessed with our makeup bags. So I sent one for her, one for Kylie and Stas. The dream girl squad. I’ve been watching The Kardashians since I was a little girl so it felt like “is someone joking with me or what?”
What is the one thing your makeup bag will always have in it?
My CAIA makeup. It’s so good. Especially their Dewy Drops. Must-have!
What/who is your current muse?
Danish it-girl Benedikte Thoustrup! She’s so effortless, cool and hot. I feel so inspired of her.
What does a slow morning look like for you?
A slow morning for me starts with sleeping in and having my daily bowl with fruits, yogurt and a chai latte. I listen to some music while I do my makeup. Answer some emails and then go for a walk in nature and leave my phone at home.

In my favorite mug that has a picture of my cat and boyfriend on. Always with frothy oat milk.
