Once upon a time, a girl sat in a beautiful, boutique hotel in Amsterdam. Looking around, she wondered how everything was styled to such perfection. 

But as she stirred her coffee with a painfully boring spoon, she noticed that even in a setting so carefully curated, one thing was still missing.

From that moment on, she embarked on a quest to create the perfect spoons; a journey that has since blossomed into an extraordinary tableware collection.

And the reason behind the name? A nod to our origin story, as "lepel" means "spoon" in Dutch.
