A coffee with Heidi
Meet our Marketing-(intern)star Heidi!
Who is Heidi?
Oh the answer is ever-evolving… I’m a 24-year-old girl from Finland that loves the outdoors and exploring new things. Currently I study Media and Culture which has not only taught me a lot about the subjects in school, but also about myself.
After high school I took some gap years and worked in tourism in Italy and Austria. I guess I could also say I’m a bit of an adventurer with a love for art and beautiful things!
Where did you grow up and where do you currently live?
I grew up in Helsinki, Finland. I always dreamed of traveling the world which has led me to live in different countries during my adult life. Currently I find myself calling Amsterdam home. I moved to Amsterdam based on a gut feeling and couldn’t be happier that I did so. Living here has taught me so much, even though it has only been about 6 months!
How did you get introduced to Lepelclub?
Actually, the first days after moving to Amsterdam I decided to go to a Gustaf Westman pop-up shop. In the line, me and Jill, the founder met. We started talking and went together to the event. So I definitely got the best introduction to Lepelclub as one could ever get!
How do you drink your coffee?
I go quite hardcore with my coffee… Maybe it’s the living in Italy that affected this, but I love a good espresso, usually make it double. But here in Amsterdam I tend to drink what the Italians call an Americano, a basic black coffee.
What makes you happy during the day?
I try to appreciate the small things. I love to listen when the birds are chirping or savor the moment when the sun is out. Even just putting on an outfit that I like brings me so much joy.
What is your wildest dream?
I dream of a life that allows me to explore the world and learn as much as I can about everything that is still unfamiliar to me. I’m definitely still in my era of figuring out the future path, but that is what sparks my curiosity to try new things.
