Toma-Tini Cocktail

This recipe is a playful twist on a classic cocktail: Toma-Tini. Think savory cherry tomatoes, a splash of vermouth and gin, finished with cracked black pepper and a cherry tomato garnish for a truly unique sip. By @paletteetpalate
Ingredients
- 2 cherry tomatoes
- 1 bar spoon champagne vinegar (any vinegar will do, but champagne vinegar works best)
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 oz dry vermouth (or Vermouth by Evie)
- 2 1/2 oz dry gin or vodka
- Garnish: cracked black pepper, a few drops of olive oil, and a cherry tomato on a cocktail pick
Preparation
Add cherry tomatoes and vinegar to a cocktail shaker and muddle well. Then add vermouth and gin (or vodka) with ice, and shake until nicely chilled.
Double strain into your favorite coupe!
Finish with freshly cracked black pepper, a few drops of olive oil, and a cherry tomato on a cocktail pick for the perfect garnish.
