Hi Ines! Welcome to the journal! To begin, who is Ines?
Hi! I'm Ines — a very proactive and driven person who’s always spotting opportunities and not afraid to take risks when I see potential. I’m naturally social, I love connecting with people, and I genuinely enjoy helping others grow.
That’s actually one of the reasons I started sharing my life on TikTok. I’ve only been on the platform for a short time, but I post a video every day showing a bit of my day-to-day. My goal is to eventually turn it into a space where I can share tips, inspire others to start their own projects, and talk honestly about the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.

What was your push to start Lafloid?
I discovered LAFLOID through my own marketing consultancy — I used to help small brands grow by giving them structure, strategy, and a strong visual identity. LAFLOID was one of the brands I was working with, and when the previous owner decided to close or sell it, I immediately saw its potential.
Taking over the brand felt natural, and I made the decision to buy it while I was still finishing my thesis degree. It’s now been a year, and I’m fully committed to building something meaningful. It’s been intense, but incredibly rewarding.

If you could relocate to anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Even though I love traveling — and I actually dream of spending one month a year living in a different city — I know for sure that Andorra is home. I’m a very family-oriented person, and being close to my loved ones is my top priority. That sense of belonging and balance is something I don’t want to give up.

Where did the brand name come from?
The name actually has a lovely backstory. The previous owner of the brand, Janina, told me her grandfather had created an aftershave called “Floid” — and that’s where the inspiration came from. It’s a small tribute that adds a nostalgic and personal touch to the brand’s identity.

We love the bridal collection! What inspired the design direction?
We’re obsessed with weddings and everything they represent — the love, the excitement, the celebration. We saw a huge opportunity to create a collection that would give brides (and future brides) a way to carry a little reminder of that special moment with them every day.
Since your phone is always with you, we thought it was a fun and meaningful idea to let it say something too — whether it’s “wifey material” or another personal message that marks this unforgettable chapter.

How does your design process differ when creating phone accessories versus bridal pieces?
When designing phone accessories, we always aim to blend practicality with personality — simple, timeless designs that people can make their own. With the bridal pieces, it’s more emotional and symbolic. We’re designing for a once-in-a-lifetime moment, so the focus shifts to creating something more delicate, romantic, and personal.
Also, our newest drop — which includes pajamas, swimsuits, and accessories — is actually a collaboration with another brand. It’s been so exciting to co-create a more complete bridal universe and give brides a full experience around their big day.

How do you relax after a long day?
I love ending the day with a walk to get some fresh air and clear my mind. I try to make time to see my friends or have dinner with my boyfriend — it’s the perfect way to unwind and recharge after a busy day.

To finish off, how do you take your coffee?
Fun fact — I actually don’t like coffee at all! I’m 100% a matcha girl. I’m obsessed with it and always order it iced with oat milk. It’s my little daily treat!
