March: Spoon Letter

March: Spoon Letter

Hi all,

It’s me again, Jill. What is it with time, does it actually go faster the older you get? Because somehow, March just flew by.

We’ve been diving deeper into our data than ever before, gaining more insights into what’s working and where we can improve.

Starting in April, we’ll be working with a new advertising specialist. While our marketing efforts have successfully driven a strong flow of website visitors, our next focus is on improving conversion rates and turning that traffic into more results.

That’s why we’ve made quite a few changes to our website. Maybe not all visible to you, but so much work went into this, special thanks to Noëlle!

One thing that became very clear from the data: some of our bestselling collections deserve an expansion. So, we got to work. We’ve added a new piece to our pearl collection… Let me introduce you to our new Pearl Opener (!!). It just feels like a natural addition, sometimes the best ideas are the ones that were hiding in plain sight.

Another fun insight: red is here to stay. What started as a bit of an experiment last year has officially earned its place. It’s doing better than we expected, so… consider this as an official announcement: red is becoming a permanent part of Lepelclub ❤️

Right now, we’re focusing on Mother’s Day. We’re working on a really cute bundle, and the star of the show will be… my mom! We’ll be filming the campaign in a few weeks, and honestly, how much fun is it that we can work on this together? I can’t wait to share it with you.

Besides that, we’re currently working on a major partnership launching this summer. A little hint: it’s getting green. Last week, we wrapped up a big campaign shoot for it. I’m honestly really happy, and a bit proud, that we’re not only producing the product that will launch internationally, but also handling all of the marketing ourselves.

We also had a lovely visit from students from Belgium, and I joined a panel at the University of Amsterdam. It always gives me so much energy to speak with students, especially since I was one not that long ago, and to hear about their dreams. And maybe give them a little inspiration to keep dreaming big!

And yes, it’s not all work, we’ve had some fun too. Think office drinks… that somehow turned into all-nighters. Obviously not for me, who wants to party with their boss anyway ;)

On a personal note: I’ve been really into boxing lately. I genuinely feel like it’s making me mentally stronger. Highly recommend!

I could keep talking (Lepelclub is my favorite topic, after all), but I’ll leave it here for now. Questions or want to chat? Talk s(p)oon! xx
