A coffee with Coco Belle

A coffee with Coco Belle

Hi Coco Belle! Welcome to the club, can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Hello! Thank you so much for featuring me on Lepelclub. My name is Coco Belle and I’m 29 years old. I work as a product editor on the fashion team at SheerLuxe. I have always loved styling and shopping so I feel very lucky to have found a job I genuinely feel so passionate about and love my 9-5.

Where did you grow up and where do you live now?

I was born in Australia but moved to southwest London when I was just two, and I’ve been here ever since. That said, I definitely have the itch to live abroad for a year or so — Australia or New York would be an absolute dream!

What was your journey into product editing like?

I actually studied Drama at Exeter University, always knowing I’d end up in fashion — even if it wasn’t the most obvious path. After graduating, I began working in fashion buying and content creation for POM London, a small boutique, alongside a lot of internships — including one at SheerLuxe. I eventually joined the content team at SL 3 years ago and have since worked my way up to become an editor!

What’s something you’re currently obsessed with?

Something I’m completely obsessed with has to be travel. I’m always planning ahead to make the most of bank holidays and stretch my annual leave as far as possible. I recently visited Bali, which was incredible, and I think South Africa is next on my list. I definitely want to see as much of the world as I can before I settle down and have children!

How do you relax after a long day?

Getting into comfy clothes and winding down early is my idea of heaven — I know it sounds boring, but I’m a creature of habit and love my routine. Cooking dinner is one of my favourite ways to relax, and I’m always trying out new recipes when I can. As for evenings, my guilty pleasure is definitely reality TV or rewatching old favourites like Gossip Girl or The OC.

We can’t let you go without asking our favorite question. How do you take your coffee?

I always surprise myself but my coffee order is so simple! It's always a (large) cappuccino, regular milk!
